1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Bible Snap ("the App"), developed and operated by Stackd LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 13835583), 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Licence to Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on your personal Apple device for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute the App or any of its content
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its underlying infrastructure
4. Subscriptions
4.1 Subscription Plans
Bible Snap offers an auto-renewable weekly subscription that unlocks premium features. Pricing is displayed at the point of purchase within the App.
4.2 Billing
Payment is charged to your App Store (Apple ID) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
4.3 Managing Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the platform you purchased from:
- App Store: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to premium features until then.
4.4 Refunds
We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. All purchases are subject to the refund policies of the platform through which you purchased:
- App Store: To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Purchases may be eligible for a refund within 48 hours via the Play Store app. After that, requests can be submitted at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
4.5 Free Trials
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5. AI-Generated Content
Bible Snap uses artificial intelligence to generate scripture summaries and reflection prompts. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content is produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions
- Summaries and reflections are intended for personal reflection only and are not a substitute for authoritative biblical, theological, or pastoral sources
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or theological correctness of any AI-generated content
- You should not rely on AI-generated content for doctrinal, legal, medical, or any other professional guidance
6. Your Content
Scripture passages you photograph and scan remain yours. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your scanned images and extracted text through our servers and third-party services solely for the purpose of providing the App's features (text extraction and summary generation). We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App — including its design, code, branding, and original content — are owned by or licensed to Stackd LTD. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the App beyond the limited licence set out in Section 3.
Scripture text displayed or extracted within the App may be from translations that are subject to their own copyright terms. Bible Snap does not claim any rights over scripture text.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Google LLC (Gemini API), Cloudflare Inc. (R2), RevenueCat Inc., and Apple Inc. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and policies of those services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
- AI-generated content will be accurate or complete
- The App will be available in all locations or at all times
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stackd LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
If you are a consumer based in the European Economic Area, you may also have the right to refer disputes to your local courts or an alternative dispute resolution body.
12. App Store and Google Play — Platform Terms
12.1 Apple App Store
If you downloaded the App via the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Stackd LTD, not Apple Inc.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation in respect of the App
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party have relating to the App
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you
12.2 Google Play
If you downloaded the App via Google Play, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Stackd LTD, not Google LLC
- Google has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
- Google is not responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party have relating to the App
- Google LLC is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
